Sanctity of Life
All life, from conception forward, is of intrinsic value. Therefore, we must protect unborn children by reversing the Roe vs. Wade decision and creating laws that will restrict access to abortions. A mother's womb should be the safest place for a child, not an experience of pain and death. I will also support initiatives that promote adoption and foster care, so that all children will have the opportunity to be nurtured by loving parents.
Education
Every Alabamian should have the opportunity to succeed, and education is the key to reaching success. Providing children access to high-quality educational options is critical to their ability to be successful later in life. Every single Alabama child deserves the best possible education. The strength of our economy in the future demands that children receive quality education today, and I am committed to supporting Alabama’s children so that our state has a strong workforce and a bright future.
Second Amendment
The right to keep and bear arms is foundational to the freedoms we have in America. I will stand against any attempt to limit our constitutional rights. American citizens have the right to protect themselves, their families, and their property, so I will carry on the fight to defend the second amendment.
Immigration
The United States is a nation of immigrants, but we must continue to ensure that immigration happens legally. We have an immigration process in our country that works to help immigrants acclimate to our society and contribute to our economy. This system needs to be upheld and followed so that immigration happens legally and safely.
Election Integrity
The right to vote is an essential element for our country. Furthermore, the integrity of our election process has a strong record from the very beginning, especially compared to other countries where corruption is more common. However, we must continue to ensure that our voting process is fair and free from corrupting influences. I will take action to ensure that citizens can trust the election process, including making sure that photo ID is required before entering the voting booth.
Agriculture
The work of farmers is pivotal to the livelihood of our state. They help create jobs for numerous Alabamians; they continue our state's legacy of excellent agriculture; and they put food on our tables. Regulators and federal bureaucrats threaten to slow our farmers down and keep them from the good work that they do. I will work to stop government overreach and free our farmers up to be as fruitful as possible.
